Description
Siberian Huskies are a medium sized, strong, graceful, and tenacious sled dog. They are a handsome dog, energetic and dignified. While they are a medium sized dog, they are extremely strong, able to pull light loads at moderate speeds for long distances. The Siberian Husky is a strong, compact, working breed of dogs. It can withstand temperatures from -58 to -76 degrees F (-50 degrees to -60 degrees C). The Siberian Husky comes in all colors from black to pure white. Some are brown to amber. And some Huskies can be mistaken for wolves becuase of the drak to light gray coating.
Their eyes are almond shaped and they have small ears. Some huskies have one brown eye and one blue eye that is called bi-eyed. If they have an eye combination of brown and blue together, it is called perti-eyed. Most Siberians have either blue, brown, or amber colored eyes.
Exercise
Siberian Huskies need a fair amount of exercise. They love to run and play. However they should NOT be excessivly exercised in warm weather. They need a large fenced in yard to run and play in. The fence should have bury wire at the base because these dogs will dig under it and run off hunting.

Height Male: Dogs 21-23 1/2 in. (53-60 cm)
Height Bitch: Bitches 20-22 in. (51-56 cm)
Weight Male: Dogs 45-60 lbs (20 1/2- 27 kg)
Weight Bitch: Bitches 35- 50 lbs (16-22 1/2 kg)
Temperment
Siberian Huskies are gentle but playful creatures. they are willful and michievious. This cheerful breed is very fond of his/her family. They are puppies at heart and very clever and socilble. They will take any stranger for a friend. Siberian Huskies are easy-going and rarly bark. However, if they are forced to do something they do not want to do, they will let out a chilling shriek as if they were being killed.
Huskies have a mind of their own and are very good with children. Huskies get bored easily and howl. They will tear up the sofa or chew on your shoes if they have nothing to entertain themselves with. Also Huskies DO NOT like to be alone. They are clever and like to steal food. However a Siberian Husky is not for everyone. If you plan on buying a Siberian Husky for the first time, you should research it further before making your desicion.
